Scrakes will never stop sprinting until they are killed. This threshold is 50% on Normal, 75% on Hard and Suicidal, and 90% on Hell on Earth. Scrakes will only sprint when their overall health drops below a certain threshold, determined by difficulty.

Damaging with on-perk weapons and then finishing it off with an off-perk weapon divides the XP and grants it to both perks.
